The Edendale Branch Library is hosting an interactive sound bath installation and performative workshop featuring Suzanne Ciani’s latest release LIVE Quadraphonic. Cinematic composer for film, fashion and media Drum & Lace applies her spatial sound research background to this special series with an educational, interactive, performative workshop.

During Echo Park Rising take a break from the heat to lay on the library floor for a meditative sound bath featuring a four-speaker immersive sound playback of Suzanne Ciani’s comeback quadraphonic Buchla modular synth performance recording LIVE Quadraphonic.

At 1pm and 3pm Drum & Lace will then guide listeners through an interactive workshop exploring the spatial sound fundamentals including sampled field recordings and a short performance.

The Installation is made possible through generous support of Teenage Engineering.

NOTE: Suzanne will not be in attendance. This is an authorized installation of her work.
